I’m so sorry, I haven’t been on for a good week or two ; u ; Life has been keeping me busy, and Toris is hiding under his little rock. I’m going to go on hiatus until about the 20th, but then I should hopefully be back as good as new!

Well, it's really hard to change it by yourself, so I'll help if you need it. BUT. The first step? Lie to yourself. Tell yourself you're awesome, all that jazz. Not saying you aren't awesome of course, but you must convince yourself. Uh... *laughs a little awkwardly* You know, I'm not the best with this myself. I have little self esteem. *shrugs* But even so... A person like you deserves to like yourself.
[furrows his brow with concern, frowning] Then we will both have to follow your advice, now, won’t we? [thinks for a moment before disappearing into the other room and returning with a rue flower, sticking it behind Lovina’s ear] There, that’s more like it. You’re a very lovely girl, and from what I have seen, kindhearted to boot. Thank you for offering to help me. [turns and checks the coffee mugs] Ah, do you like your coffee strong or mild?
That is true... But there are so many children out there who need homes. To make their lives as happy as possible even if they grow old would be fulfilling. And goodness, Toris, I don't need a whole tub to myself! *laughs* I'm undead, remember?
You do have a point…[smiles, his face thoughtful] In a way, I already am raising them, though. If a child appeared at my doorstep, I’d willingly take them in without any hesitation…but it would be very painful, although it would be worth it. Ah, this talk is making my chest hurt—O-Oh, I apologize! [scoops some of Kia’s ice cream into his bowl to even it out a bit] It’s a habit of mine when I serve food. Are you sure, though? I think I could eat an entire tub, myself! [chuckles]
You seem very nice and not very confident. It's not a bad thing to not be confident, just... You deserve to think a bit more of yourself.... If you understand my meaning. *blushes a little* I'm bad with words.

O-Oh? You think so? I never really thought about it. But it’s not much, I-I mean, I’m not much to be—
[smile fades slightly, his eyes softening] I suppose you are right. Ah, no need to worry, you’re not bad with words at all. [the water starts boiling; he pours it in the cups and mixes in the coffee, preparing to let it sit]
Think more of myself…? I’m glad that you feel that way. It’s not everyday that I am told something like that. W-Well…how would you suggest that I build my confidence?

*Sits* I've been well thank you. *Smiles weakly* Just busy with work...*Can't tell him she has children.* I'm glad you're doing well.
[furrows his brow, patting Alaska’s shoulder with a gentle hand] You look as tired as I do…ah, no need to tell me why, unless you’d like to. I know just the remedy for this. [pulls out a slice of leftover coffee cake from the refrigerator, heating it up in the microwave for a few seconds, and setting it down on the table] Warm cake melts all of the stress away. [sits down beside Alaska]
That;s good you're feeling well.. And I'm ok, thank you.^^ Yes, it is for you.^^ ((Good you're feeling better.^^ ))
Ah, yes, those cookies seemed to do wonders…my tea always works, also. Nothing heals an upset stomach like a cup of tea. [stands up with the face of an excited child, grabbing two plates and some silverware] Thank you very much! This was too kind of you…a Lithuanian dish, even. I hope you will have some, also? [already scooping some out on both plates]
((Yes, thank you. ^^ You helped that quite a bit also.))
What have you been doing these days?
[face lights up] Hello, there! It’s very great to see you here again. Please, have a seat. I’ve been doing the same old things: working around the house, worrying about my people, watching over political relations and economy and…[sighs] How about you? Have you been well?
Well but I mean to be like a father to an actual kid until they grow up. I think you'd be really good at it~. I'll definitely be sure to take those names in if it does happen to be a boy and of course be by to visit. And feel free to have all the sea salt ice cream you want. There's plenty.
[swallows his ice cream, bringing a hand up to his mouth and chuckling] You think so? That would be lovely, to have someone living with me like that. It’s virtually unheard of among us nations, though, I’m afraid. [eyes soften] I think it is because it would be painful to watch the child grow old and…wither away, if you will. Oh, I’d love that! [eyes light up again] Please visit often, I love children. I can’t wait to meet him or her.
Ah…[turns around and gets out two bowls] I apologize, I forgot the bowls. No, no, you deserve some, also. [smiles and scoops all of the ice cream into the bowls, giving Kia a bit more than himself]
Hello, Lithuania and RPer. How are you today?^^ (Sets some Kugelis down.)
Hello, Heather! [smiles] I am well. I hope that you are, also. My stomach feels much better today, so—[breaks off mid-sentence, staring down hungrily at the Kugelis] Is that…for me?
((Hello~ I’m…sleepy. So very sleepy. :’D I just woke up from a three hour nap. But I had a busy day at the fair, and my mood feels quite positive. Getting out of the house helped quite a bit.))
*hugs Toris, smiling a rare smile* Alrighty, that's fine. You know, your self esteem seems kind of low, bello.
Eh? Oh! L-Low? You…think so? I n-never think about that kind of thing, so…[nervous smile fades into a thoughtful looks; he returns the hug gratefully] Ah, thank you, that is very kind of you.
